HOUSE RULES
We are counting on everyone to ensure everyone at RisenFest has the opportunity to feel safe and relax. As a community, we join together to live by and enforce these rules. Violation of any of these rules will result in you being cut off and potentially asked to leave.
Be responsible for yourself. Whether you’re wandering around the property, consuming substances, or curling up with a good book, be sure to take care of yourself, listen to your body, and know your limits. We all look out for each other, but first and foremost, you are the one responsible for your time.
Respect others. Everyone is here to have a good time, but not always in the same way. Be considerate of those who might party differently. This includes paying attention to your noise levels and general disruptiveness, especially later at night and early in the morning.
Respect the space. Our AirBnB ratings determine whether we’ll be allowed to continue booking a venue every year. Please be considerate of behavior that might upset the owners, including anything damaging to the house or the property, as well as anything that might raise red flags with neighbors. Please do your best to keep common areas clean and free of clutter.
Act without judgment. Risen Fest is a celebration of music, arts, culture, and everything that makes us weird. We ask that you give everyone the opportunity to showcase their weird and to meet it without being disparaging, negative, or judgmental.
Do not engage in any violence. Violence of any kind will not be tolerated, and there are no exceptions. This includes physical and psychological violence. Any violent behavior will be shut down immediately, and that person will be required to leave.
In the event of a medical emergency:
We will have limited first-aid options (basic over-the-counter medicines, anti-septic, band-aids, etc.). If you anticipate needing anything beyond that, please plan to bring it with you.
We have doctors attending, but they are not here to be doctors, and they are not responsible for your care. If a medical situation escalates and you need professional help, please seek additional medical attention from an outside doctor or medical resource.
